This clinic started functioning in A. V. M. Govt. Ayurveda Hospital, IRINJALAKUDA since 2019 -2020 funded by Irinjalakuda municipality.

The main objective of this project is to ensure normal pregnancy and uncomplicated labour with the delivery of a healthy baby from a healthy Mother by providing proper antenatal and post natal care mentioned in ayurvedic classic textbooks. Now a days only a few people practice ayurvedic antenatal care and even though postnatal care is practiced by many it’s not done under medical supervision.

Antenata care starts from first trimester onwards and includes monthly examination, fetal monitoring, advise of monthly regime, internal and external medications. In addition to antenatal and postnatal care, we are treating various gynecological problems like dysmenorrhea, irregular menstruation, PCOS, uterine fibroids ,infertility etc by providing both OP and IP management which are safer that they don’t have any side effects.
