Govt Siddha Hospital, Vallakadavu is the only government run siddha hospital in the state of Kerala, with an in-patient capacity of 20 beds. The hospital is located at Enchakkal junction in Thiruvananthapuram Corporation. With a humble start as a dispensary in 1968, it was upgraded to a 20-bedded hospital in the year 2020.

About 55,000 to 65,000 people utilise the OP services of which the majority are from the fishermen community mainly of Vallakadavu, Valiyathura, Veli, Sanghumugham and other neighbouring areas.

Vayokalpam – a geriatric care project funded by the corporation of Thiruvananthapuram renders services for the elders above 60 years of age.

Siddha Raksha Clinics distributes Covid preventive medicine like kaphasura kudineer, through swasthyam & sukhayushyam and post Covid management through punarjani.

Magalirjyothi is a NAM funded project for the benefit of girls and women of 10 – 55 years of age to cure anaemia and other common gynaecological disorders such as dysmenorrhea , menorrhagia , UTI, post menopausal syndrome etc.
