Digital Health Incentive Scheme (DHIS)
The National Health Authority [NHA] is implementing Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission to create a digital health ecosystem for the country. ABDM intends to support different healthcare facilities like clinics, diagnostic centres, hospitals, laboratories and pharmacies in adopting the ABDM ecosystem to make available the benefits of digital health for all citizens of India.
In order to promote digital health transactions in the country, it has been decided by the NHA to incentivize the stakeholders of the digital health ecosystem. This initiative would also provide right encouragement to majority of healthcare providers for adopting digital health and also to the providers of digital health solutions such as HMIS [Hospital Management Information System] and LMIS [Laboratory Management Information System] to make available the right software at an affordable cost.
ISM E-Hospitals of Kerala are part of digital health ecosystem of the country, and are generating digital health records through NextGen E-hospital software. Most of the E-Hospitals of ISM department are registered under Digital Health Incentive Scheme of NHA, and claim incentive every month. The incentive received by hospitals are utilised to promote digitalisation activities of respective hospitals.
